FLEXO AND ROTOGRAVURE STEEL BLADES

Sureprint® metering squeegees are used for gravure and flexo printing as well as coating applications. These steel squeegees are available in varieties and edge configurations depending on applications and printing process requirements. Sureprint is the metal doctor blade brand of Convertech, who have a wide range of products to meet the demanding requirements of the printing process.

High density carbon steel blades with refined microstructure, suitable for standard rotogravure and flexo printing and coating applications, using solvent, UV and water-based inks.

High density carbon steel scrapers with ultra-refined microstructure, which allows for low friction scraping, ensuring minimal downtime and longer life. These blades are best used on medium to long run jobs or while working with abrasive inks.

Designed for both gravure and flexo printing, these premium squeegees are made of specially formulated steel, suitable for long life and low pressure squeegeeing at high line speeds. These are particularly useful for wide web printing.
A unique offering, the Sureprint HST™ is a long-life doctor blade that has superior rigidity and even wear that allows for fine doctoring at high speeds and low pressure. Suitable for flexo and gravure printing, these blades deliver trouble-free printing even with poor print settings. They are especially suitable for reducing blade end breakage due to poor or uneven cylinder ends and mitigating turbidity problems.

Cleaning anilox cylinders has always been one of the biggest concerns for flexo printers. If the cylinders are not perfectly clean, their transfer capacity is reduced and therefore the color intensity of the print is lost, with the consequences for the production that this can have: invalid prints, longer start-up times, etc. I-LAC solves this problem effectively thanks to the laser that removes the dried ink from the inside of the cells without damaging the cylinder cells. A specially designed optical laser vaporizes any residue and cleans away dried ink, adhesives, waxes, silicones, etc. Laser technology allows cleaning without exerting any mechanical or thermal action on the anilox cylinder, which allows us to clean even after each use and preserve the useful life of the anilox rollers for much longer.

We have I-LAC machines with measurements from 500 mm in length to 3500 mm (cylinder without shafts), and special measurements can be adapted according to needs.
