CERAMIC ANILOX ROLLERS
Novaline™ and Proline® laser engraved ceramic anilox rollers are high quality and designed for flexible package printing, demanding coatings, specialty materials and varnish applications.
MANUFACTURE OF ANILOX ROLLERS
The anilox roll manufacturing process includes base preparation, shot blasting to roughen the roll surface, application of a uniform high integrity coating to extend roll life, grinding and lapping to obtain a smooth surface, laser engraving to obtain the proper cell volume, top finishing to further smooth the surface, and evaluation and certification of the engraving specifications in our metallurgical laboratory.

CERAMIC COATING OF ANILOX ROLLERS
The performance of a laser etched ceramic anilox roll begins with the coating. The use of a proprietary thermal spray powder and plasma torch to create a dense, hard, low-porosity chromium oxide ceramic coating and proven sealing technology makes our rolls more corrosion resistant than many others on the market today.
FLUOROPOLYMER COATING
Our fluoropolymer coatings fight corrosion, offer excellent non-stick properties and are easy to clean, making them ideal coatings for ink tanks, reservoirs, scrapers and chambers.
LASER ENGRAVING
Our meticulous standards for cell volume, number of screens and cell shape provide exceptional ink release that sets our anilox rolls apart from the competition. Our engravings are designed to address the challenges faced in printing today, such as ink splash, ink transfer and release, high definition packaging, high densities with minimal dot penalty gain, and uniform solids coverage with improved gloss and fewer perforations.
ROLL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEMS
A custom identification band can be applied to an unprinted area of the roll, allowing pressroom personnel to identify each roll quickly and easily. You can print engraving specifications, press name and number, roll number or any other information you need so you don’t have to refer to the original documentation to determine roll characteristics.

ANILOX CLEANING WITH OR WITHOUT SHAFT
LASER OPTIMIZED FOR FLEXOGRAPHY
Up to 80% time savings when cleaning Anilox cylinders with I-Lac machines
Cleaning anilox cylinders has always been one of the biggest concerns for flexo printers. If the cylinders are not perfectly clean, their transfer capacity is reduced and therefore the color intensity of the print is lost, with the consequences for the production that this can have: invalid prints, longer start-up times, etc. I-LAC solves this problem effectively thanks to the laser that removes the dried ink from the inside of the cells without damaging the cylinder cells. A specially designed optical laser vaporizes any residue and cleans away dried ink, adhesives, waxes, silicones, etc. Laser technology allows cleaning without exerting any mechanical or thermal action on the anilox cylinder, which allows us to clean even after each use and preserve the useful life of the anilox rollers for much longer.
We have I-LAC machines with measurements from 500 mm in length to 3500 mm (cylinder without shafts), and special measurements can be adapted according to needs.
