Advantages of the I-ICS TD stand-alone ink control system
I-ICS TD is the ideal solution for production environments with a single flexo, gravure, laminating or coating unit. This control system is supplied in stand-alone units and is operated via an individual dialog terminal for each printing unit. It can be configured with various options similar to those of the centralized I-ICS system. These options include color control (concentration/viscosity), temperature control, pH control, solvent mixing, filters and stirrers. In addition, the system can be customized to specific customer needs.

Presentation and functionality:
– For solvent-based inks: Comes in a separate cabinet containing sensors, pumps and valves. The control electronics and dialog terminal are installed in a separate cabinet. • For watter based inks: The system comes in a single cabinet with easy access through a hinged door. The control electronics are located at the top and the set of sensors, pumps and valves at the bottom. The cabinet that contains the pumps, valves and sensors is strategically located between the ink tank and the printing body. Depending on the model, the system includes an integrated ink pump that takes the ink directly from the tank and sends it to the printing body.

Cleaning anilox cylinders has always been one of the biggest concerns for flexo printers. If the cylinders are not perfectly clean, their transfer capacity is reduced and therefore the color intensity of the print is lost, with the consequences for the production that this can have: invalid prints, longer start-up times, etc. I-LAC solves this problem effectively thanks to the laser that removes the dried ink from the inside of the cells without damaging the cylinder cells. A specially designed optical laser vaporizes any residue and cleans away dried ink, adhesives, waxes, silicones, etc. Laser technology allows cleaning without exerting any mechanical or thermal action on the anilox cylinder, which allows us to clean even after each use and preserve the useful life of the anilox rollers for much longer.
We have I-LAC machines with measurements from 500 mm in length to 3500 mm (cylinder without shafts), and special measurements can be adapted according to needs.
