I-CLC: The laser cleaning revolution with continuous beam laser technology
The I-CLC is an innovative cleaning laser designed to remove rust, paint, varnish and other contaminants from metal, porcelain, glass and stone surfaces without damaging the base material. Its continuous laser technology overcomes the ablation threshold of the contaminant without affecting the substrate, enabling precise and safe cleaning.
The I-CLC offers safe, environmentally friendly cleaning, eliminating the need for hazardous chemicals and reducing toxic waste. This laser is easy to operate, meets stringent safety standards and can incorporate fume extraction systems that capture and filter particles released during the process. All this translates into a cost-effective and efficient system that is suitable for a variety of industries.
Versatility and Applications in diverse Industries
– Automotive Industry:
Cleaning of body panels to improve paint adhesion. And removal of rust and contaminants in weld areas to improve joint quality.
– Aerospace industry:
Removal of paints and coatings without damaging sensitive surfaces. Cleaning of manufacturing and maintenance residues on critical components.
– Heritage Conservation:
Damage-free removal of rust, paint and contaminants from historic surfaces.
– Nuclear Industry:
Disposal of wastes and contaminants in critical nuclear power plant systems.
– Medical Industry:
Removal of residues and contaminants on medical instruments and equipment. Surface treatment of implants and devices to improve adhesion of coatings.
– Mold and Tooling Industry:
Disposal of waste rubber, plastic and other materials from industrial molds and tools.

Up to 80% time savings when cleaning Anilox cylinders with I-Lac machines
Cleaning anilox cylinders has always been one of the biggest concerns for flexo printers. If the cylinders are not perfectly clean, they reduce their transfer capacity and therefore color intensity is lost in the print, with the consequences for production that this may have: invalid prints, longer start-up times, etc.
I-LAC solves this problem effectively thanks to the laser that deeply removes the dried ink from inside the alveoli without damaging the cylinder cells. A specially designed optical laser vaporizes any residue and cleans away dried ink, adhesives, waxes, silicones, etc. Laser technology allows cleaning without exerting any mechanical or thermal action on the anilox cylinder, which allows us to clean even after each use and preserve the useful life of the anilox rollers for much longer.
We have I-LAC machines with measurements from 500 mm in length to 3500 mm (cylinder without shafts), and special measurements can be adapted according to needs.
